Your subtitles stay on your device

Files and pasted subtitles are parsed in your browser. CueCheck does not upload, store, or send subtitle content, filenames, or exported reports to our server. The tool does not call an AI service.

What we measure

We collect tool-page views and clicks on the sample, check, and CSV download controls. Events contain an anonymous random browser identifier, an anonymous visit identifier, the tool-page path, event time, whether the sample was used, and a referring domain or utm_source. We do not collect your subtitle text, full referring URLs, names, or email addresses in analytics.

A random browser ID is saved in local storage; the visit ID is saved in session storage and renewed after 30 minutes without a tracked action. Our server stores a hash of the browser ID. Detailed events are kept for up to 90 days, with older events removed when another event is received. Daily totals may be retained longer. Browser storage remains until you clear it or opt out.

Hosting providers process requests and may handle technical connection information under their own policies. Our analytics database does not store IP addresses. Known crawler user agents and marked tests are excluded from reported traffic; bot detection is limited.

Your choice

CueCheck respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. You can also opt out below. Subtitle checking works with analytics disabled. We do not use advertising cookies.

Who can see the data

The analytics dashboard requires the site owner's private dashboard password and a signed secure session. Other visitors cannot read individual events or aggregated traffic through the dashboard API.
